CONTENT WRITER (INCL. GUEST POST)
You may write an article of your choice, if you think that the topic is of your interest or stick to the topics we provide you! The choice is yours. So if someday, you wish to switch up from writing on the topics we provide you to the topics you wish to write on your own, you are most welcome, but do let us know beforehand so we see if that topic has not been repeated again!
Once your article gets proof-read for the first time, you are to write a small summary of your article in about 200 words (maximum) so that we can post it on our social media with credits to you of course.
We expect you to write just 1 article per week and subsequently, depending upon your academic schedule and the severity of the article (articles which require in-depth analysis) we make give more time to write provided, it is backed up with proper resources, this is because we understand that we are going to start new sessions at our Universities. You can also write more articles, if you wish to, however, since proof-reading and rectifying the errors take time, we won’t recommend writing more than one article. Also, we don’t want to burden you with work.
Should you wish to extend your time by one week, we would ask you to let any one of our team members know about it, and do not worry, we would not force you to complete the article when you cannot.
Generally speaking, we like to keep our reading ‘bite-sized’ and so a minimum of 1000 words and an upper limit of 1500 is advised. However, we appreciate a number of weighty issues will require (and we encourage) a more lengthy in-depth piece.
RESEARCHER
Assist content writers (by giving topics and in cases of difficulties)
You are expected to find topics of BOTH general awareness/ commercial awareness - news, recent trends, etc. and legal topics- judgements, theory, jurisprudence, statutes etc. of your country (and of another country, if asked).
Depending upon your country, we may ask you to come up with more than 3-4 topics per week.
You are the mentors of the content writers, so before they reach out to us, they will reach out to you, so be sure to help them!
We require assistance in planning because we need to sort out the opportunities from different countries (which may also not be your country), place them together, provide links to them so that people can access them. This would take place every alternate week, so this would probably be the hardest task for you.
If you wish to write blogs as well, you may write that too, on your favourite topic provided it has not been written before. Once your article gets proof-read for the first time, you are to write a small summary of your article in about 200 words (maximum) so that we can post it on our social media with credits to you of course. Generally speaking, we like to keep our reading ‘bite-sized’ and so a minimum of 1000 words and an upper limit of 1500 is advised. However, we appreciate a number of weighty issues will require (and we encourage) a more lengthy in-depth piece.
However, you may be asked to write blogs on an ad hoc basis too, so keep yourself updated.
EDITORS

Make sure that you have proof-read their articles and have corrected their mistakes.
In case you find sentences which are unreadable or need to be rephrased, highlight that section and make a comment in that.
Please do not judge the content writers for what they write and make fun of them. Some of them will be very new to this organisation with absolutely no previous experience. Help them grow. Make them understand where they’re wrong. Direct them to make good sentences. Kindness goes a long way!
Make sure that the hyperlinks and references have been properly inserted.
that you have taken your content from.
Make sure that you DO NOT use biased news articles or clippings or any site that tends to promote biasness. Only credible sources allowed.
COUNTRY AMBASSADOR
You will be required to act as country ambassadors for your country, meaning, you will have to build networking and gather people from your country for our events.
You should be active and promote our events on all the groups that you are a part of. We may ask you for proof too (in the form of screenshots/links etc)
You must be active on the internet, and we expect you to respond quickly.
You should share and like the content ILL post.
We would ask you to be there for the events of other Ambassadors as well, since it would be good to be there for the team.
As country Ambassadors, we would also like you to assist and moderate your fellow Ambassadors in their events.
You should have good networking skills with people, as we may ask you to communicate with higher authorities.
You should be able to help arrange events and pitch in ideas for the events related to your country.
You will be acting as delegates, therefore, if any event takes place that is specific to your country, you should be present. In case you are not present for that event, you should drop us an email or a message, warn the Representative of your Continent/Area at least two days before, also arrange someone on your behalf to act as the delegated country ambassador for that event.
If you ever wish to write articles on an ad hoc basis, we would love to know about it. Check out the rules of content writing!
